About the Team
The Workday Adaptive Planning team in Brisbane is looking for a new leader! Do you want to join a fast-paced software development environment, working with modern technology to solve the next generation of complex problems? Would you enjoy the autonomy and agility of leading a highly innovative team?We are seeking a motivated Manager, Software Development Engineering to lead our .NET Platform Engineering team. We are responsible for building out capabilities that will help define the future architecture of the Workday Adaptive Planning .NET platform as well as shipping new innovative solutions to our customers.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced technical people leader to join the Adaptive Planning product team in Brisbane, Australia. In this position, your primary focus will be leading a team of professionals to deliver high-impact solutions for our products.

About You
Do you enjoy redefining products using the latest technologies to help thousands of customers? Do you thrive in a collaborative environment focused on growth and learning? We share a passion for Product and Platform Engineering and are looking for a leader who shares our values.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of experience building and directly managing impactful engineering teams.
5+ years of software engineering experience.
Hands-on experience with programming languages such as C#, Java, and React.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), containerisation technologies, specifically Kubernetes and Docker.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

You have a consistent record of leading effectively across organisational boundaries and can communicate technical complexity in simple terms to non-technical audiences.
You are proactive, have a strong sense of ownership, and can deliver on complex and highly technical initiatives with a high degree of autonomy.
You have the ability to adopt new technologies quickly and maintain a "team-first" mentality.
