Position Overview
Toyota Bountiful is seeking a highly driven and experienced General Manager to lead all aspects of dealership operations. The ideal candidate brings strong automotive leadership experience, proven performance in sales and fixed operations, and the ability to develop high-performing teams.
This role oversees Sales, Service, Parts, Finance, and overall dealership performance. We are looking for a results-oriented professional who delivers growth, drives customer satisfaction, and elevates operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of all dealership departments.
- Lead, train, and motivate management teams and staff to meet and exceed goals.
- Develop strategies to drive sales growth, profitability, and customer retention.
- Monitor key performance indicators and adjust plans to maximize results.
- Ensure a strong customer-focused culture and resolve escalated concerns.
- Manage financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, and reporting.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top-performing team members.
- Maintain inventory effectiveness and coordinate with purchasing and OEM partners.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and manufacturer requirements.
- Work with marketing to create effective campaigns and community engagement.
Qualifications
- Previous General Manager experience in a dealership is REQUIRED.
- 5+ years of automotive management or dealership operations experience required.
- Proven track record in sales growth and operational performance.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Excellent financial and analytical abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple departments and priorities.
- Strong knowledge of automotive industry trends, processes, and customer experience best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Five years of General Manager experience is required.
- Previous experience with Toyota is preferred.
- Experience in a high-volume dealership.
- Proficiency with use of a computer is a must.
- Time management proficient
- Accomplished at managing people.
- College education preferred but not required.
- Possess a Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Substance screening is a requirement of all Performance Automotive Employees
