Position Overview
Performance Ford Truck Country in Woods Cross is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our Fleet & Commercial dealership operations. This role requires a proven automotive leader with strong B2B sales, commercial service, and fleet operations experience.
The General Manager is responsible for overall dealership performance, including fleet sales growth, commercial service operations, financial results, team development, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all dealership operations including Fleet Sales, Commercial Service, Parts, Finance, and Administration.
- Lead, develop, and hold management teams accountable to performance goals.
- Drive B2B fleet and commercial sales through strategic planning, relationship development, and account growth.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with business clients, municipalities, and corporate accounts.
- Monitor financial performance including budgets, forecasting, P&L, and cost controls.
- Ensure optimal fleet and commercial inventory levels and efficient inventory turnover.
- Maintain compliance with manufacturer guidelines, state and federal regulations, and internal policies.
- Recruit, train, and retain high-performing team members across all departments.
- Collaborate with marketing to support B2B campaigns and community outreach.
- Promote a professional, customer-focused culture centered on long-term client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of automotive management experience required.
- Fleet, commercial, or B2B automotive dealership experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in driving sales growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Knowledge of Ford commercial vehicles, fleet programs, and upfitting processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Five years of General Manager experience
- Previous experience with an import manufacturer (Lexus is preferred but not required)
- Experience in a high-volume dealership.
- Proficiency with use of a computer is a must.
- Time management proficient
- Accomplished at managing people.
- College education preferred but not required.
- Possess a Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Substance screening is a requirement of all Performance Automotive Employees
