Together, Moss and Bedrock create a holistic environment where members can move, restore, and connect in a refined, community-focused setting.</p></div><p>&nbsp;</p> <h3><strong>POSITION OVERVIEW:</strong></h3> <p>Moss New York is seeking an experienced, detail-driven, and highly accountable Overnight Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and support overnight housekeeping operations at our private members’ club. This role is essential to ensuring the club is meticulously cleaned, fully reset, and prepared to reopen for daily operations.</p> <p>Working during overnight hours while the club is closed, the Overnight Housekeeping Supervisor oversees all back-of-house housekeeping operations, ensures adherence to Moss New York’s elevated cleanliness and safety standards, and provides hands-on leadership to the overnight housekeeping team. This position plays a critical quality-control role—verifying that all work is completed to standard and that the space reflects the excellence expected by members, guests, and staff.</p> <p>This position reports directly to the <strong>Facilities Manager</strong>.</p> <h3><strong>COMPENSATION:</strong></h3> <p>The hourly wage for this position is&nbsp;<strong>$30.00 – $33.00 per hour</strong>, depending on experience.</p> <h3><strong>CLASSIFICATION:</strong></h3> <p>This is a&nbsp;<strong>non-exempt, hourly position</strong>. In accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), you are eligible for overtime pay at one and a half times your regular rate for all hours worked over 40 in a single workweek.</p> <h3><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></h3> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Overnight Housekeeping Leadership</strong></p> <ul> <li>Supervise and support the overnight housekeeping team to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed thoroughly, efficiently, and on schedule.</li> <li>Assign nightly cleaning responsibilities and ensure proper coverage across all guest-facing and back-of-house areas.</li> <li>Serve as the primary on-site facilities and housekeeping lead during overnight hours.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Quality Control &amp; Club Reset</strong></p> <ul> <li>Conduct detailed inspections of all areas—including lounges, dining spaces, bars, restrooms, locker rooms, corridors, offices, and staff areas—to confirm work meets Moss New York standards.</li> <li>Ensure the club is fully reset and operationally ready for reopening at 5:00 AM.</li> <li>Address deficiencies immediately and provide corrective guidance to team members as needed.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Training, Coaching &amp; Compliance</strong></p> <ul> <li>Train, coach, and guide overnight housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, procedures, and expectations.</li> <li>Ensure all team members are using the correct cleaning chemicals and tools for various surfaces, finishes, and materials.</li> <li>Reinforce safety protocols, chemical handling procedures, and sanitation standards.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Inventory &amp; Supply Management</strong></p> <ul> <li>Maintain tight control over cleaning supplies, chemicals, tools, and equipment.</li> <li>Monitor inventory levels and report supply needs or discrepancies to the Facilities Manager.</li> <li>Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of all cleaning products.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Reporting &amp; Communication</strong></p> <ul> <li>Complete a nightly pass-down report documenting cleaning completion, staff attendance, performance notes, inventory concerns, and any maintenance or safety issues.</li> <li>Communicate overnight activities, challenges, and follow-ups clearly to the Facilities Manager and morning operations teams.</li> <li>Escalate urgent issues as needed to ensure operational continuity.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Back-of-House Oversight</strong></p> <ul> <li>Oversee all back-of-house areas during overnight hours to ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety.</li> <li>Identify and report maintenance issues, damages, or hazards discovered during overnight operations.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h3><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></h3> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>2–4 years of experience in housekeeping or facilities operations, with supervisory experience preferred.</li> <li>Prior experience in luxury hospitality, private clubs, hotels, or high-end commercial environments strongly preferred.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and surface-specific care.</li> <li>Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team in an overnight or independent work environment.</li> <li>Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality control.</li> <li>Strong organizational, communication, and reporting skills.</li> <li>Reliable, accountable, and comfortable working overnight shifts.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <div> <h3><strong>EMPLOYEE BENEFITS:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Medical insurance</li> <li>Vision insurance</li> <li>Dental insurance</li> <li>401(k)</li> <li>Pre-Tax Commuter benefits</li> <li>Disability insurance</li> </ul> </div> <div> <p>&nbsp;</p> </div> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><h3><strong>OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL:</strong></h3> <p>Moss is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace that seeks to recruit, develop, and retain the most talented people from a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills.
