About the Role

Our client installs and maintains EV charging stations for commercial properties. Beyond installation, ongoing monitoring, troubleshooting, and coordination are key to keeping chargers running smoothly.

  • Role Overview:
    • We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our team. No prior EV charger experience is needed — full training will be provided. This role requires a tech-savvy, proactive individual who can learn quickly, communicate effectively, and help keep our EV infrastructure operational.
    • Full-time, 40 Hours/Week
    • Fully remote, work from home
    • Salary: ZAR 20,000-22,000/month, commensurate with skills and experience
    • Availability to work during EST business hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor EV charger statuses and identify any issues.
  • Communicate with property owners and drivers to assist with troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams for on-site support.
  • Document issues and resolutions in the system.
  • Escalate complex technical problems when necessary.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Technical Support Specialist
  • Tech-savvy with strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage active issues efficiently
  • Customer service or technical support experience in IT or related field preferred

Training Provided:

  • EV charger systems and operations
  • Basic troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Coordination procedures with maintenance and property teams
