About the Role
Overview

The Sales Enablement & Operations (SE&O) team plays an essential role in translating Microsoft’s Commercial Strategy into a local execution plan and driving operational excellence to achieve the greatest results possible. Our team drives cross-Region, cross-Area and cross-Subsidiary insight and execution excellence, bringing strategy and priorities to life by accelerating the pace of transformation and enabling Microsoft to deliver business impact at scale. 

 

Within SE&O, the Central Marketing Organization (CMO) inspires, acquires, and engages Microsoft customers & partners by driving integrated marketing strategy and plans to achieve business growth objectives. CMO accelerates the region’s growth agenda by driving customer centric, digitally connected integrated marketing plans aligned to global Marketing strategy and standardized marketing engines. CMO drives connected customer experiences and data driven storytelling, creating Microsoft brand love, and enabling sellers to deliver revenue. 

 

We are looking for a highly motivated Social & Digital Marketing Individual Contributor, responsible for activating Paid Media and Social Campaigns, and website compliance.

 

The Social & Digital Marketing IC is instrumental in helping Microsoft grow our Paid Media & Social engagement and footprint, and ensuring EMEA website compliance. The Social & Digital Marketing IC would play a key role in supporting marketing and business leadership on the role of owned, earned and paid social for driving strategic short and long-term goals for the company. Focus for the role is also to ensure governance consistency and adherence to global standards for EMEA websites. This role will cover France and so must be proficient in French

 

The candidate needs to have strong executional excellence and is a quick learner and rapid adopter of leading practices from international peers. The candidate needs the ability to create engaging, audience-focused content for social media, and have familiarity with major social media platforms. Also critical is the ability to interpret social media metrics and report back with clear written and presentation skills. You must enjoy ongoing challenges in our multifaceted, highly matrixed organization and the industry that requires a combination of Modern Marketing Profile, Digital Marketing, and global programs adoption in EMEA for the greater cause - all coming together to deliver the customer experience. 

 

 

This role requires an ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and often at times ambiguous. The ideal candidate will operate with a growth mindset, embrace change when it arises (agility and flexibility are key), and at times will be asked to step outside of their role swim lane to work on projects aligned to the areas of greatest need and impact. For e.g. AI Tours, strategic programs etc.

 

This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% from home.

Responsibilities
  • Digital & Social:
    • Coordinate with EMEA teams on the local content calendar and ensure timely execution of campaigns.
    • Localization review for all French social media content (paid and organic) ensuring  cultural and language relevancy while maintaining brand consistency.
    • Partner with Regional and EMEA teams to ensure consistent execution across platforms and audiences.
    • Support and execute paid media initiatives across EMEA
    •  Amplify French local events and local comms content through social channels driving business impact while aligned to EMEA and local business needs.
    • Manage local crisis on social media channels ensuring timely and accurate responses in alignment with local Comms and EMEA Digital teams
    • Support the teams in the development of executive social presence where relevant. 
  • Website Compliance:
    • Conduct inventory audits of EMEA websites to ensure governance consistency and adherence to global standards.
    • Co-create a centralized model (new or scaled from existing solutions) that meets local/regional needs and aligns with EMEA content strategy as the central hub for the EMEA Digital Engine.
    • Track, measure, and report website performance and business adherence to compliance requirements.
    • Collaborate with Paid Media Lead and RSCC to integrate compliance into campaign workflows.
    • Act as liaison between global web governance and local teams for updates, audits, and compliance guidance.
    • Provide training and support to regional stakeholders on compliance processes.

Performance & Optimisation 

    • Monitor EMEA and French performance metrics, optimize content based on insights and report back the business.
  • Support regularly reports on content effectiveness and engagement to stakeholders. 
  • Support testing and iterating content formats, messaging, and channels to improve impact. 
  • Stay informed on content and social/digital best practices, tools, and technologies to continuously evolve the strategy. 

 



Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 2+ years integrated marketing (e.g., campaign planning and execution, digital marketing), event management, program management, marketing operations (including campaign reporting and analysis), or related work experience

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years marketing execution, campaign execution, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, or related work experience AND bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field 
  • OR equivalent experience. 
  • 1+ year experience supporting a product/solution portfolio and driving demand generation and pipeline acceleration within a complex (e.g., multinational or matrixed) organization. 
  • Experience in supporting regulatory marketing strategies and campaigns and aligning marketing strategies to EMEA marketing needs. 
  • Knowledge of the relevant EMEA regulatory landscape.
  • Marketing strategies to audience needs. 
  • Knowledge of the relevant personas and buying process
