We value authenticity because diverse backgrounds, cultures, styles and abilities can only help us find the answers that people with rare tumors are looking for.<br><br>As the (Senior) Medical Science Liaison for our newly acquired company, SpringWorks, you will play a pivotal role in driving operations and strategic growth within your designated country or cluster.<br><br>The (Senior) Medical Science Liaison, (hereafter (Sr.) MSL) will be responsible for managing a company product(s) within a defined territory. This entails establishing and maintaining key scientific relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) within their territory and serving as a scientific expert to the medical community and facilitating the appropriate exchange of scientific information.<br><br>Key expectations include the Sr. MSL being able to develop and maintain an advanced scientific, medical, and product knowledge base, ability to communicate key insights learned, and disseminate critical scientific data to external stakeholders; including but not limited to academic/scientific/clinical experts and patient organizations.<br><br>The (Sr.) MSL will be responsible for ensuring timely and appropriate input on the field medical engagement plans in support of our clinical development and commercialization programs and activities. In addition, the (Sr.) MSL will assist, lead, and drive the support of the company’s clinical trials in partnership with the clinical development team and with researchers as appropriate.<br><br>The (Sr.) MSL will be expected to master the MSL responsibilities and be able to take on additional leadership roles on projects and initiatives within the country or region. The (Sr.) MSL will be expected to work independently with little direction/oversight, be accountable, and assist the Regional Medical Director as needed.<br><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities will include:</strong></p><ul><li>Identify KOLs and establish and maintain strong and deep scientific relationships with KOLs across multi-specialty disciplines, connecting to KOLs in academic and non-academic centers at the local, regional, and national level.</li><li>Serve as a scientific expert to the medical community and facilitate the appropriate exchange of scientific information</li><li>Communicate experts’ opinion and feedback on new data and clinical trends to Medical Affairs and translate this information into strategic recommendations to enhance science and advance patient care</li><li>Act as primary liaison to investigators interested in developing and performing investigator-initiated research</li><li>Collaborate with the Clinical Operations organization to enhance patient enrollment in company-sponsored clinical trials by identifying appropriate clinical trial sites, supporting clinical trial awareness, and interacting with investigators in ongoing studies</li><li>Serve as medical lead and provide scientific support at medical congresses, support national and European medical booths staffing, participate and lead clinical support, and facilitate medical discussions at advisory boards and local scientific/medical programs</li><li>Lead national projects such as national congresses, PAG engagement, as delegated by Country or European medical leadership</li><li>Be familiar with country specific pharma rules and regulations, particularly as they apply to MSL activities</li><li>Provide clinical presentations and information in response to unsolicited questions (as appropriate) in academic, non-academic, and healthcare provider settings</li><li>Develop and execute territory plans in alignment with regional and national strategy</li><li>Develop and maintain strong and deep relationships with clinical decision makers at local and national institutions</li><li>Partner with cross functional teams, including HEOR/market access to develop the strategy and generation of health economic and outcomes data as needed, and presentation of such data to relevant audiences</li><li>Serve as mentor for other new hires and/or less-experienced MSLs</li><li>Manage/lead relevant medical activities/projects including, but not limited to:</li><li>Facilitate and lead field medical onboarding programs, and support training of commercial (including sales) colleagues</li><li>Support Country Medical Director in translating the medical affairs strategy to a national KOL engagement plan and ensures the KOL development translates to individual territories</li><li>Partner with Global Medical Information colleagues to continuously improve Standard Response Letters and efficiency of MIRF process</li><li>As a senior member of the medical team, contribute to the national, and as needed regional, medical strategy and medical plan</li><li>Provide scientific support to Regional Medical Director and facilitate medical discussion for national medical advisory boards</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Who you are:</strong></p><ul><li>Advanced Scientific degree or equivalent experience required. (MD, PhD, PharmD)</li><li>Minimum of 5 years MSL experience in the pharmaceutical industry</li><li>Rare disease experience preferred, particularly in Oncology and/or Neurosciences</li><li>Demonstrated mastery of effectively presenting clinical/scientific information<br><br><br></li></ul><p>Job evaluation: Expert 2<br>Department: HC-RT Rare Tumor Business</p>
