<strong>About Gold’s Gym Langley<br><br></strong>Located north of Langley Township, Gold's Gym Langley is out largest facility. Spanning 3 floors, featuring a pool, hot tub, tanning, group classes and personal training services. Featuring an amazing assortment of your favorite lifting equipment.<br><br>ABOUT THE ROLE:<br><br>

<li>M<strong>ust be available 4 days a week</strong>
</li>
<li><strong><em>Tuesday and Thursday 10:00am-6:30pm</em></strong></li>
<li><strong>OPENING SHIFTS: Friday 4:45am-10:45am / Sunday 6:45am-1:45pm*</strong></li>
<li>*Weekend shifts may be require upon request. </li>
<li>NO extended time off for travel in the first 4 months of employment. (Including Christmas) </li>
</ul><div><strong>What we need from you</strong></div><ul>
<li><strong><em>Valid First Aid certification an asset.</em></strong></li>
<li>Service driven with an enthusiastic attitude.</li>
<li>Previous customer service experience required. </li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast paced environment. </li>
<li>High school diploma required.</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>
<li>Fluent in English - Ability to speak other languages an asset. </li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.).</li>
<li>Knowledge of cash handling / previous experience with POS terminals.</li>
<li>Ability work both alone and in groups. </li>
<li>Critical thinking / problem solving skills. </li>
<li><strong><em>Must have reliable transportation (vehicle) OR live within walking distance. </em></strong></li>
</ul><div><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></div><ul>
<li>Ensure facility is open on time and members are able to check in at start of day. </li>
<li>Greet members and guests enthusiastically to encourage a positive culture at the club.</li>
<li>Promptly ensure that customer inquiries are resolved professionally and thoroughly via telephone, e-mail and in person encounters.</li>
<li>Monitor member check-ins / Check-in guests ensuring all policies and processes are </li>
<li>Ensure that guests and appointments are directed to the appropriate employee/department in a prompt, professional manner.</li>
<li>Complete all guest check in procedures.</li>
<li>Efficiently and effective input and update daily cash reconciliation documents</li>
<li>Process point of sale items, such as retail and concession sales.</li>
<li>Check in all members and guests using the proper registration procedures.</li>
<li>Distribute membership cards, parking decals, towels, child-minding tickets, and other materials as needed.</li>
