About the Role

 

The Bid and Content Executive plays a pivotal role in supporting the organisation’s growth strategy by ensuring the delivery of compelling, compliant, and high-quality proposals. This position combines project coordination, content development, and administrative expertise to help secure new business and retain existing clients. You will work closely with the Head of Bid Management and Bid Managers, subject matter experts, and sales teams to manage timelines, maintain content libraries, and uphold brand standards across all submissions.

 

What You Will Do

  • Experience: At least 2 years’ experience in supporting bid management or a related field.
  • Support Bid Managers and the Head of Bid Management in planning and coordinating bid activities.
  • Attend internal tender strategy meetings to understand client/prospect requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring all deadlines and milestones are met.
  • Collate input from bid response teams and create draft reports, diagrams, tables, and charts.
  • Format Word and PowerPoint documents in line with brand and compliance standards.
  • Maintain and update the central bid management library and manage online content repositories.
  • Collaborate with technical experts and brokers to incorporate accurate program design input.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, coordinating tasks, and managing bid documentation.
  • Review submissions for compliance and support operational improvements and strategic sales initiatives.

 

What We Are Looking For

  • Project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and content management systems (e.g., Loopio).
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Resilience, perseverance, influence, and a commitment to learning through practical experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience) is desirable.
  • Experience in bid management, proposal writing, or content coordination preferred.
  • Familiarity with tender processes and compliance requirements is advantageous.
