About the Role

We are looking for an English Literature Teacher for an international school based in Sanya. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-27 academic year in August 2026.

This international K-12 school incorporates elements of both Chinese and Western cultures in its kindergarten, primary, middle, and high school divisions. With a team of educators from around the world, the school offers a bilingual education that is forward-thinking and that prepares students to be successful in a global setting.

Job responsibilities

Planning and delivering English literature lessons to high school students
Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
Develop supportive and safe learning environments
Schedule from Monday to Friday from 8:30am till 4:30pm and approx. 25 teaching classes a week

Bachelor degree or above in English Literature, Education (English Specialization) or TESOL
At least 3 years of related teaching experience
Excellent communications skills

Salary and benefits

Monthly salary of 15,000 to 25,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
Monthly housing allowance of 5,000 RMB
