About the Role
<h3>Job Summary</h3><p>We are seeking a highly organised and proactive <strong>HR Administration Officer</strong> to join our team in <strong>Abu Dhabi, UAE</strong>. This key role will support the delivery of a comprehensive range of human resources and administrative functions, ensuring efficient HR operations in full compliance with <strong>UAE Labour Law and company policies</strong>.</p><p>The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and practical knowledge of HR administration, payroll coordination, and employee facilities management, including accommodation, transportation, and company vehicles.</p><hr><h4>Key Responsibilities – HR Administration, Payroll &amp; Employee Support</h4><ul><li><p>Perform day-to-day HR administration activities, including onboarding and offboarding employees, preparing employment contracts, amendments, and maintaining accurate employee records in line with <strong>UAE Labour Law and MOHRE requirements</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Maintain and update employee files (digital and physical), HR databases, and personnel records, ensuring accuracy for audits, payroll, and government inspections.</p></li><li><p>Support <strong>payroll administration</strong> by coordinating attendance, leave records, overtime, allowances, deductions, and end-of-service benefits (EOSB).</p></li><li><p>Administer employee benefits, including <strong>leave management, air ticket entitlements, medical insurance, gratuity calculations</strong>, and other statutory or company-provided benefits.</p></li><li><p>Handle HR documentation such as contracts, warnings, renewals, and employee letters as required.</p></li><li><p>Act as a first point of contact for employee HR queries related to contracts, payroll, leave, benefits, accommodation, and transportation.</p></li></ul><hr><h4>Accommodation Administration</h4><ul><li><p>Coordinate and manage <strong>employee accommodation arrangements</strong>, including room allocation, records, occupancy tracking, and coordination with camp/accommodation providers.</p></li><li><p>Monitor accommodation and transportation costs and prepare basic reports for management review.</p></li></ul><hr><h4>Compliance, Records &amp; Reporting</h4><ul><li><p>Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices are implemented in compliance with <strong>UAE Labour Law, MOHRE regulations, and company internal policies</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Support visa-related documentation and coordination (employment contracts, renewals, and employee records) in collaboration with PRO or Government Relations teams.</p></li><li><p>Prepare HR reports related to headcount, attendance, leave, payroll summaries, and accommodation/transport usage as required by management.</p></li></ul><hr><h4>Required Skills – HR Administration, Payroll &amp; Confidentiality</h4><ul><li><p>Strong organisational and administrative skills with proven experience handling confidential employee information.</p></li><li><p>Practical knowledge of <strong>UAE HR practices</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Good understanding of employee accommodation, transportation, and vehicle administration within a corporate or project-based environment.</p></li><li><p>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with HRIS or payroll systems is an advantage.</p></li><li><p>Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.</p></li></ul><hr><h4>Qualifications &amp; Experience – Human Resources &amp; Administration</h4><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.</p></li><li><p>Minimum <strong>2–4 years’ experience</strong> in an HR Administration or HR Assistant role within the <strong>UAE</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Solid understanding of <strong>UAE Labour Law</strong>, HR administration processes, and payroll coordination.</p></li><li><p>Experience in companies managing blue-collar and white-collar employees, accommodation, and transportation is highly preferred.</p></li></ul>
