About the Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Executive - Account Payable to join Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
• Generate statements for third-party outlets and summaries for credit tips distribution.
• Validate and finalize incentive and commission schedules submitted by departments, ensuring accuracy.
• Compile salary deductions from staff bars and other outlets, preparing necessary documentation.
• Manage team member telephone deductions and post commission and incentive journal vouchers to the Sun system.
• Prepare month-end revenue reconciliation summaries with Opera and the SUN system, reconcile guest, accounts receivable, and deposit ledgers, and post month-end telephone journal vouchers to the Sun system.
• Prepare daily revenue reconciliation reports comparing Opera and Sun systems, as well as Symphony versus Opera.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or auditing, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Software competencies – Microsoft Office programs (Intermediate)
• Leadership and team management skills
