About the Role

Company Description

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our Strategic Analytics & Insights (SA&I) team. In this role, you will support new and existing clients across Brand & Media (B&M), Consumer Behaviour & Insights (CB&I), and Innovation practice areas. Your mission is to drive revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction while proactively identifying new business opportunities in the market.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Business Development:

    • Independently sell solutions across B&M, CB&I, and Innovation practice areas.
    • Assess client needs and proactively offer tailored solutions to achieve sales targets.
    • Develop and execute strategic account sales plans aligned with regional objectives.
  • Client Engagement & Consultancy:

    • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and influence client strategies.
    • Lead contract renewals and negotiations, ensuring long-term growth.
    • Deliver on-site and off-site consultancy to secure customer satisfaction.
  • Market Awareness & Thought Leadership:

    • Represent NielsenIQ at conferences, client meetings, and internal events.
    • Promote SA&I portfolio awareness and act as a subject matter expert in brand and consumer research.
  • Collaboration & Project Management:

    • Partner with Account Development, Solution Experts, Customer Success, and Operations teams to ensure project feasibility and delivery.
    • Identify opportunities in Analytics & Activation (A&A) and pass them to relevant experts.
  • Operational Excellence:

    • Manage sales pipeline and provide accurate weekly forecasts.
    • Ensure compliance with internal processes, CRM tracking, and financial discipline.
    • Continuously develop technical knowledge of NielsenIQ tools and services.

Qualifications

Essential:  

  • Bachelor degree in economics, behavioral sciences, statistics, or related area. 
  • Strong communication skills. 
  • Strong verbal and written skills 
  • Strong analytical - statistical - logic skills. 
  • Exceptional ability for market / category analysis. 
  • Excellent presentation skills. 
  • Intellectual curiosity and persistence to find answers to questions. 
  • Ability to autonomously manage simultaneous projects in a fast-paced business environment. 
  • Strong sense of urgency & accountability to drive client outcomes. 
  • Native Romanian (preferred).  Speaking and writing English fluently.   
  • Able to work collaboratively with internal & external teams. 
  • Competent negotiator with good influencing skills. 

Preferred: 

  • Previous experience in Brand / Consumer research (sales or consultant) 
  • Broad industry knowledge including (but not limited to) FMCG & Retail.  Knowledge of Finance, Telekom, Auto industries would be a bonus. 
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
