About the Role

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Commercial Banking Portfolio Coordinator.


In this role, you will:

  • Review complex credit information of loans for companies and industries
  • Provide support to the Commercial Banking Portfolio Management team and more experienced individuals in the credit approval process
  • Perform complex credit investigations on companies and industries
  • Utilize knowledge and interpretation of procedures to direct less experienced individuals
  • Interact with immediate team and Commercial Banking Portfolio Management functional area to review process of companies for providing credits


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of financial analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Analyze real estate related documents like Appraisal , Lease agreements
  • Understand the feedback received from the reviewers and implement the same in their day to day work.
  • Quality check of work performed by junior team members and provide appropriate feedback on the same.


Job Expectations :

  • At least a B. Com or an equivalent degree preferably MBA
  • 4+ years’ of overall commercial credit experience across diversified asset class (includes corporate entities and real estate asset class)
  • Good knowledge on financial statements for various industries with ability to ascertain trends, ratios and call out key risks when compared to benchmarks (historical and industry performance).
  • Sound analytical thinking / high attention to detail with focus on research across various platforms
  • Demonstrates strong ownership of work, ability to work independently, able to taken judgement calls with realistic assumption and ability to articulate and present in the narratives.
  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • High level of personal motivation, strong interpersonal skills to work across time zone
  • Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Intermediary to advanced excel skills would be a plus
