About the Role

Description

This position requires working knowledge in the areas of Payroll and Benefits including planning, directing, and coordinating payroll and benefits activities of a General Beverage Sales Company. Duties include employee compensation issues, processing payroll, administering benefits program, recruitment, and regulatory compliance.   


This is a Monday-Friday position that offers a wonderful Benefit package to include Health, Dental, Life, HSA/FSA, 401K with Match, and Profit Sharing. We also offer a generous vacation and sick time package.

Requirements

  

· Responsible for payroll activity including entering hours and earnings, employee master file maintenance, and maintaining benefit deductions.  Check, balance, and process payroll locations.   Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.   

· Serves as the primary point of contact for all Human Resources questions and concerns, triaging inquiries and directing them to the appropriate individual or department as needed.

· Communicate and work with other HR staff members to ensure the standardization and consistency of corporate policies and procedures.   

· Prepare and maintain records for controlling personnel transactions, reporting personnel data, and maintain personnel records to comply with government regulations. Provide documentation, records, and guidance to management to help determine informed decisions.  

· Administer employee benefit programs to include retirement, medical, life, dental, long-term disability, workers’ compensation, flexible spending, and unemployment compensation. Assure the benefit programs are in compliance with corporate policies and procedures.  

· Help coordinate and manage internal recruitment efforts. Assure the interview and selection process is handled in accordance with federal and state hiring laws and regulations.  

· Participate in professional development activities to keep current with employment law changes and requirements.  

· Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor.
