We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Staff II to join our team of talented professionals at our Detroit location.
As a Support Staff II in the Kids-TALK CAC program, you will be responsible for the following:
- Answer multiple incoming complex and time-sensitive telephone calls efficiently and effectively.
- Greet families, staff, and Multidisciplinary Team members as they enter the building.
- Monitor family waiting room.
- Provide information about the CAC as necessary, developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with the CAC’s partners and community at large.
- Coordinate and order office supplies for the unit.
- Attend supervisory meetings.
- Attend meetings, take notes, type and distribute them as assigned.
- Work in coordination with Kids-TALK CAC staff, creating charts and completing any paperwork in a detailed, accurate and timely manner.
- Send letters, type and copy as requested.
- Compose correspondence from meetings and distribute as requested by the Kids-TALK CAC Leadership Team.
- Manage administrative office and equipment associated with the office.
- Maintain and format regular reports as deemed necessary for administrative staff.
- Provide assistance with the scheduling and processing of forensic interviews and medical evaluations for both CAC locations as needed.
- Assist in organizing special events
- Project management as directed.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets and other data tracking mechanisms.
- Maintain confidentiality of children and families served.
- Other duties as needed.
Requirements
To qualify for this position, you will need the following:
- High School diploma with a minimum of 2 years clerical/reception experience preferred; proficiency in a variety of computer programs, especially Microsoft Excel and word processing software; excellent written, verbal, communication, organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail required.
- Must be able to track and prepare data accurately and in a timely way.
- Additional requirements include a nonjudgmental approach that reflects cultural competency and sensitivity to the unique needs and diverse experiences of our staff members and the programs they represent.
- Must have the ability to assess and address multiple complex and time-sensitive situations simultaneously.
- Must possess a valid Michigan driver’s license with a favorable driving record, as some driving between CAC locations is required.
