($23.22-$24.66 / hour + $0.75 / hour shift differential)

Job Summary

  • Work safely!
  • Organize and identify transformer and subcomponents to be painted.
  • Use of primer/paint/color as per BOM (Bill of Material).
  • Set-up and operate paint equipment.
  • Clean transformers and sub-assemblies prior to painting through use of sander, cloth, cleaner or alcohol.
  • Mark and protect areas not to be painted or coated.
  • Apply complete finish coat per Work Instruction.
  • Complete quality check of final paint finish to meet manufacturing procedures and rework/repaint if required.
  • Remove masking and protection.
  • Maintain paint system as required and notify supervisor and maintenance of any problem.

Basic:

  • Ability to work within the WEG Code of Ethics & Values. (WEG Code of Ethics, 4th Edition)
  • Able to work over-time as needed.
  • Resides or plans to reside within reasonable commuting distance--no relocation assistance available.
  • Has current work authorization for employment in the United States.
  • Must complete: talent assessment, Job interview, pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Safety Sensitive position: Drug panel includes THC.

Preferred:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Two years prior manufacturing experience.
  • ACT WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certification (NCRC): Platinum or Gold Level.
