About the Role

Description

Stanford’s Restaurant and Bar (www.stanfords.com) is on the lookout for a dynamic and driven Shift Supervisor to join our team at our location in Seattle, WA in the Northgate neighborhood. We're searching for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing exceptional hospitality. This is a part-time hourly position. Pay Rate: $25-$30 per hour DOE (roughly 20-30 hours/week)

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Helps manage the FOH staff including directing work, addressing concerns, and holding staff accountable.
  • Assists management with training new employee
  • Monitors the dining area to ensure cleanliness, proper setup, and adherence to health and safety standards
  • Oversees the opening and closing procedures, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Handles customer complaints, conflicts, and emergencies, making quick decisions to resolve issues.
  • Ensures all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
  • Maintains an extensive floor presence to support the FOH and BOH staff.
  • Fills in where needed to ensure guest service standards are met and operations run efficiently.
  • Performs any and all other duties as assigned.

Experience:

  • 1-2 years related experience, including prior supervisory experience
  • Food Handler’s permit
  • MAST
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and Holidays
