We’re a global family of properties, bound together by a common desire to give our guests not merely a room, but a place.</p> <p><strong>How We're Different</strong></p> <p>Hotel Indigo, Grand Cayman is an upper upscale lifestyle hotel opened in the Spring of 2024, offering 282 guest rooms with views across the Caribbean Sea, multiple restaurants, an expansive pool deck and rooftop bar, for a uniquely local experience that brings into harmony the novel and the known, awakening the curiosity to join in, venture out, and encounter the meaningful connections that lead to life’s true riches.</p> <p>&nbsp;Just as no two neighborhoods are alike, no two Hotel Indigo hotels are alike, and no two Team Members are alike.&nbsp; We are looking for bright, confident, and free-spirited people to join our team!</p> <p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p> <p>Seeking an enthusiastic Bartender (Banquets) to provide outstanding service to our guests, prepare and serve drinks in a professional, courteous, and timely manner, while also promoting the bar/restaurant, creating unique experiences, and building strong relationships with guests to encourage their return.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Greet and welcome our guests and promptly serve their drinks and food (if applicable).</li> <li>Pour drinks using standard pour according to specifications.</li> <li>Receive and process orders in the POS system with accuracy.</li> <li>Serve food and drinks to guests, along with filling orders for the servers.</li> <li>Clean and empty trash cans, fill and clean ice bins.</li> <li>Change kegs, stock beer and wine coolers.</li> <li>Clean shelving, stainless steel, mixers, cups, blenders and soda guns.</li> <li>Notify a manager if a guest is becoming intoxicated or rude to other guests.</li> <li>Follow uniform and grooming specifications.</li> <li>Cooperative communication with support crew and management.</li> <li>Operate bar equipment, unpack deliveries and stock bar.</li> <li>Record accurate tip-out sheets.</li> <li>Additional projects and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p> <ul> <li>2+ years of bartending experience is preferred.</li> <li>Passion for crafting and personalizing guest experiences.</li> <li>Excellent wine and spirits knowledge, great communication and presentation skills.</li> <li>Basic math skills, able to calculate the correct bill amount and use proper credit card and cash handling procedures.</li> <li>Able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.</li> <li>Able to learn, retain, and present product, menu, and allergy information to guests.</li> <li>Knowledge of or ability to learn the restaurant point of sale system.</li> <li>Restaurant inventory and invoicing software proficiency may be required.</li> <li>Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness certifications (if applicable).</li> <li>This position requires a flexible schedule, must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.</li> </ul> <p>Differences make a difference.
