Job Description
We are looking for a Subject Matter Expert – Accounting platforms to join our growing internal Technical Training team. The Subject Matter Expert will play a pivotal role in the Pathway strategic workstream, focusing on the design and delivery of high-quality training for our key accounting platforms: Investran, Yardi, Paxus, and Allvue. This role combines deep technical expertise with the systems, training delivery and instructional design capabilities to support the organization's digital learning transformation and operational excellence initiatives. We are looking for passion, energy, and commitment in a dynamic, global, and fast-paced environment.
What you will do
- You’ll provide subject‑matter expertise in fund accounting by advising on best practices, optimising workflows across Investran, Yardi, Paxus, and Allvue, and supporting the development of accurate, efficient, and compliant accounting procedures.
- You’ll design and develop high‑quality learning content by collaborating with instructional designers to create digital modules, simulations, storyboards, procedure guides, case studies, trainer guides, and assessments aligned with adult learning principles and organisational standards.
- You’ll deliver engaging training experiences through classroom and virtual sessions, Masterclass programmes, Train‑the‑Trainer support, and system‑specific coaching during hypercare, adapting your approach to diverse learner groups and global locations.
- You’ll drive data quality and system improvement initiatives by monitoring platform upgrades, identifying data gaps, proposing enhancements, and supporting change management and training efforts during system transitions.
- You’ll contribute strategically to organisational learning goals by developing new digital modules, advising on delivery mechanisms, partnering with SMEs to ensure content accuracy, and aligning training outputs with Pathway and Migration 2026 project timelines.

Qualifications
- You have at least five years of experience in fund accounting or fund administration, with a strong grounding in core operational processes.
- You bring deep hands‑on expertise in at least two major industry systems such as Investran, Yardi, Paxus, or Allvue.
- You demonstrate strong technical knowledge of fund accounting principles and best practices, including NAV calculations, valuations, cash management, and investor reporting.
- You create high‑quality training and documentation through experience developing learning content, process guides, and instructional materials.
- You excel in communication, collaboration, and multitasking, effectively engaging stakeholders, working with cross‑functional teams, and managing multiple priorities to meet deadlines.

- Previous training delivery or mentoring experience
- Experience working on system implementations or upgrades
- Familiarity with instructional design principles and e-learning development tools
Contract Details
- Fixed-term secondment: 12 months
