About the Role
<p><strong>Account Manager, Commercial (US)</strong></p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> This role operates in a hybrid capacity and is based in either our Chicago office or Boston hub</p> <p><strong>About the position</strong></p> <p>As an Account Manager you will play an essential role in Showpad as you will have a massive impact on its growth. Our sales team shares the Showpad success story with organizations around the world and helps them understand the value Showpad offers to align Sales and Marketing.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities as an Account Manager at Showpad</strong></p> <ul> <li>Driving growth and expansion through new products, services, business units, etc. of the Showpad platform with existing customers in the Commercial segment&nbsp;</li> <li>Owns renewal process for their selected accounts&nbsp;</li> <li>Primary ownership of Account Plan - identifying whitespace opportunities and business units not currently gaining value from Showpad platform.&nbsp;</li> <li>Creating/maintaining executive level (business owner) relationships within their book of business&nbsp;</li> <li>Conducting Annual Business Reviews to ensure mutual alignment between Showpad and customers on desired outcomes being met and success plans moving forward in the partnership.&nbsp;</li> <li>Leveraging Showpad Partner network to drive greater value realization for customers</li> <li>Identify and understand customer’s key strategic initiatives and ensure Showpad is supporting them adequately&nbsp;</li> <li>Learn and document customer’s business model - OKR’s/KPI’s looking to achieve and benchmarking against them.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;Attributes we are looking for</strong></p> <ul> <li>1 - 4 years experience selling software into mid-sized to large enterprises.</li> <li>A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets consistently.</li> <li>Demonstrates genuine curiosity in learning their customers’ business.</li> <li>Able to develop strong Account Plans for a book business that sets the seller up for immediate and long term success.</li> <li>Consultative and natural in gaining insights into their customer’s pains.&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong prospecting/networking skills that will allow seller to expand upon existing relationships within their selected accounts.</li> <li>Collaborative in nature - will need to work closely with Sales Engineers and Customer Success team to ensure Showpad is consistently driving value for their customers.&nbsp;</li> <li>Startup DNA</li> <li>Experience with CRM (Salesforce would be great!)</li> <li>Some formal sales training</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you can expect from Showpad</strong></p> <p>We welcome every voice and are committed to building a truly inclusive environment where your differences are not just welcomed, they are celebrated.
