Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the reservations department.
  • Monitor and manage room availability and rates to maximize revenue and occupancy.
  • Assist in implementing revenue strategies based on forecast trends and market analysis.
  • Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and no-shows.
  • Ensure all reservations are processed efficiently through OPERA Cloud PMS.
  • Handle group bookings, travel agent allotments, and corporate accounts professionally.
  • Train and supervise reservations agents, ensuring adherence to standards.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Front Office, and Revenue departments for seamless operations.
  • Prepare and analyze reservation reports and support revenue decision-making.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and complaints related to reservations in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • Prior experience in a city or business hotel environment.
  • Familiarity with distribution channels and online booking engines.
  • Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in hotel reservations, with at least one year in a supervisory or assistant managerial role.
  • Solid understanding of revenue management principles and best practices.
  • Proficient in OPERA Cloud PMS (mandatory).
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
