About the Role

Rapidly growing, innovative material storage/handling company looking for a dedicated sales professional to join the growing team! Position will be focused on driving company sales growth by focusing on client experience, responsiveness, solutions, and leveraging CRM tools/processes. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, with strong follow-through, and a talent for customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Convert inbound leads/prospects into new or growing  accounts
  • Actively maintain, develop, leverage CRM platform for sales correspondence, activities, history, and projections
  • Assist identifying targeted marketing opportunities, activities, and strategies
  • Proactively monitor open opportunities, assist in coordinating quoting and sales activities to win work
  • Develop relationships with both new and existing customers to ID new opportunities, gather feedback
  • Assist in completing onsite facility surveys to qualify & support both leads & customers.
  • Support trade show planning and participation.

Position is based full time in office / on site when not traveling


Starting salary based on prior direct sales experience

Requirements

Required

  • 1-2 years experience in an inside sales or customer service role
  • Natural builder of relationships and rapport
  • Strong work ethic & consistent team player
  • Process orientated, strong follow through
  • Should prefer & thrive in an autonomous work environment,
  • Aptitude for technical, solution focused aspects of company products
  • Some technical/industrial or manufacturing industry experience
  • Ability to travel - up to 20% (travel needs fluctuating with what is needed to win work)
  • Comfortable in an in office/ onsite work environment when not traveling

Preferred:

  • Previous experience with CRM systems or similar tools
  • Previous sales experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Experience with Sandler Selling Methodology
  • B.S./B.A. Degree  (Sales/Marketing, Business, Engineering)
