Requirements


Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations in the center with excellence
  • Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships with families and communicating student progress
  • Lead, coach, and motivate center management and instructional staff by building relationships and providing regular thoughtful, direct, and constructive feedback
  • Close sales by promptly responding to leads, thoughtfully conducting assessment appointments
  • Clearly communicating, and ensuring timely completion of enrollments.
  • Train, assist in scheduling employees, and apply appropriate instructional methods and practices to effectively provide individualized instruction in a small group setting using the Mathnasium Method
  • Market the Mathnasium program by building school and community relationships
  • Monitor and grow overall center performance metrics, including profitability and student success
  • Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
  • Maintain a safe and professional learning environment

Qualifications:

  • Self-starter who is proactive and takes initiative to lead and oversee all aspects of center operations and performance
  • Passion for developing and leading a team to deliver instructional excellence in Mathnasium's math education curriculum and approach
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to easily build rapport, understand customer needs and communicate clearly;
  • Highly organized with attention to details
  • Good judgement and emotional intelligence
  • Eagerness to learn and be trained
  • Proficiency with basic computer skills
  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree, preferred in business, education, math or related field
  • Previous management or leadership experience preferred
  • Previous customer relationships & sales experience preferred


Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC ("Mathnasium"). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.
