Job Description
We’re looking for an Audience Specialist to own and evolve OUA’s digital analytics and customer data foundations. In this role, you’ll ensure we can confidently measure performance, understand customer behaviour, and activate meaningful experiences across our digital ecosystem.
As our Audience Specialist, you’ll be the go-to expert for digital tracking, analytics, and audience data at OUA.
You’ll own and evolve our Customer Data Platform (Tealium) and web analytics platform (GA4), ensuring data is accurate, consistent, and fit for purpose. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales and Insights teams, you’ll translate business needs into scalable tracking and audience solutions that support marketplace performance and customer outcomes.
This role sits at the intersection of data, technology and customer experience, ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on technical work and collaborative problem-solving.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead the design and ongoing improvement of tracking and tagging standards across OUA’s digital experiences
- Own the day-to-day health, integrity and governance of GA4 and related analytics tools
- Take end-to-end ownership of the Customer Data Platform (Tealium), including data collection, audience creation and activation
- Define and maintain governance frameworks to ensure consistent, reliable tracking and audience data across systems
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing and Insights teams to define tracking requirements aligned to business objectives
- Translate business questions into practical analytics and audience solutions
- Support stakeholders to activate audiences and campaigns in line with data and measurement standards
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure platforms are used effectively and continue to evolve
- Develop tracking specifications and support troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Build dashboards, reporting views and insights that support decision-making and continuous optimisation
About You
- You’re commercially minded, curious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- You enjoy bringing structure to complexity and take pride in building strong data foundations that help others succeed.
- You communicate clearly, work collaboratively, and are confident engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- You’re someone who enjoys building strong foundations that enable others to do their best work.
What you’ll bring to this role
- Hands-on experience with Tealium, particularly AudienceStream and EventStream
- Strong understanding of the MarTech and AdTech landscape (CDPs, CRMs, DMPs, DSPs)
- Around 3+ years’ experience working with a Customer Data Platform in a similar or related role
- Experience with tag management tools such as Tealium or Google Tag Manager
- Strong knowledge of Google Analytics 4 and turning data into actionable insights
- Experience analysing omni-channel customer behaviour and supporting optimisation recommendations
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to define analytics and tracking requirements
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and balancing foundational work with evolving priorities
- Mid-level SQL skills and exposure to databases or data warehouse environments
- Bachelor’s degree in an analytical, STEM or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
