You work hands-on within your value stream while also contributing broadly across the organization - improving systems, enabling teams, and driving long-term technical impact.<br>If you enjoy solving complex system challenges, mentoring engineers, and exploring pragmatic AI applications with measurable impact, this role is for you.<br></span></span></p> <h3><strong>Your mission</strong></h3> <ul> <li>You provide architectural and technical leadership by driving scalable architectures and long-term technical improvements across teams</li> <li>You support engineers hands-on in designing and implementing high-quality services, distributed systems, and data pipelines</li> <li>You collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and other Staff Engineers to align on architectural decisions and technical direction</li> <li>You evaluate and integrate AI technologies where they strengthen systems, processes, or product capabilities with measurable impact</li> <li>You enable responsible AI adoption by defining best practices, guidelines, and reusable patterns across engineering</li> <li>You mentor engineers and drive cross-team alignment while reducing complexity and improving engineering-wide consistency &nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h3>Your experience &amp; skills</h3> <ul> <li>You have extensive experience in modern software engineering and distributed systems</li> <li style="text-align: left;">You bring strong architectural thinking and can align teams and stakeholders on technical decisions</li> <li style="text-align: left;">You have deep experience with event-driven systems, microservices, and AWS-based architectures</li> <li style="text-align: left;">You are familiar with data warehouse concepts, data modeling, data governance, data pipelines, and data quality frameworks&nbsp;</li> <li style="text-align: left;">You have a solid understanding of AI concepts such as LLMs, embeddings, vector search, agents, and automation patterns</li> <li style="text-align: left;">You have experience integrating AI capabilities into existing systems or workflows and assessing feasibility, risk, and impact</li> <li style="text-align: left;">You communicate fluently in English; German is a plus</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h3>Why choose us?</h3> <p data-start="2141" data-end="2444">Being part of our team means joining a high-performing company with a strong and diverse culture.
