Safety Manager

As our Safety Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our safety strategy. This is your chance to lead critical safety programs, influence culture at every level and make a tangible difference in the lives of our people. You’ll work closely with operational leaders to embed best practice and deliver innovative solutions that keep everyone safe.

Responsibilities:

• Own and enhance our WHS management system and critical control program.
• Monitor, report, and improve safety performance across the business.
• Conduct assurance reviews and site inspections to identify risks before they become incidents.
• Champion safety initiatives through engaging toolbox talks and clear communication.
• Prepare safety reports for senior leadership and the Board.
• Build strong relationships with regulators and industry bodies.
• Support tenders and presentations by showcasing BINGO’s safety excellence.

What makes you a GOgetter:

• Tertiary qualifications and/or proven experience in a similar safety role.
• Expertise in WHS management systems (ISO 45001, ASNZ 4801 or similar).
• Strong track record in audits, data analysis, and implementing safety improvements.
• Collaborative approach with the ability to influence and coach teams.
• Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office and safety management software.
• Experience in high-hazard environments; waste/recycling industry knowledge is a bonus.

This role is based in our head office at Sydney Olympic Park five days a week—perfect for those who enjoy working closely with a team and building strong connections.
