Sales Manager – Refractive & Cataract Counseling Teams
Locations: Houston and Austin Market

Mann Eye Institute is seeking a driven, people-focused Sales Manager to lead and elevate our Refractive and Cataract counseling teams across all locations. This role is ideal for a high performing sales leader who thrives in a metric-driven environment, excels at coaching and training, and brings a professional yet outgoing personality that builds trust and strong relationships.

What You’ll Do
As our Sales Manager, you will be the central leader supporting counseling teams throughout Houston and Austin. You will:
- Lead day-to-day performance of all Refractive and Cataract counselors.
- Consistently travels between locations to support, develop and grow our counselors and the overall business.
- Monitor key performance metrics, including conversions and evaluation volume.
- Review and analyze weekly and monthly reports to spot trends, gaps, and opportunities at both the individual and location level, while evaluating workflow too.
- Provide hands-on training, mentoring, and refresher coaching for new and experienced counselors.
- Oversee and improve new counselor onboarding and ensure consistent training standards.
- Align counseling teams with clinical standards, marketing initiatives, and organizational messaging.
- Develop, refine, and enforce SOPs for workflows and patient communication.
- Conduct structured check-ins and performance conversations rooted in clarity and accountability.
- Partner closely with Operations, Marketing, and Physicians to maintain a cohesive patient experience.
- Deliver clear performance updates and make recommendations for targeted improvements.
- Calculate and manage monthly conversion and volume reports for all locations.
