Position Summary
Are you passionate about bridging business needs and technical solutions? Vertosoft is seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join our Enterprise Operations team. The BSA will analyze business processes, translate operational requirements into technical solutions, and design system-driven workflows that improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across the organization. This role serves as a critical link between business stakeholders and technical platforms, with a primary focus on Salesforce and related automation technologies. The BSA will identify opportunities to streamline processes through configuration, automation, and integration, ensuring systems are aligned with business objectives and evolving operational needs.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Business Analysis & Process Design:
- Partner with stakeholders across Sales, Operations, Finance, and Leadership to understand business processes and pain points.
- Document current-state and future-state workflows, business requirements, and functional specifications.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and standardization.
- Translate business needs into system requirements and solution designs.
- Systems Configuration & Automation:
- Design, build, and maintain Salesforce Flows, approval processes, validation rules, and other declarative automation.
- Configure Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, and record types as needed.
- Implement cross-system workflows involving Salesforce, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise tools.
- Support data quality initiatives, including validation, deduplication, and governance.
- Integration & Advanced Automation:
- Collaborate with internal or external technical resources to support system integrations and API-based workflows.
- Assist with the evaluation and implementation of automation and AI-driven tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Support reporting and analytics requirements by ensuring clean, structured, and reliable system data.
- Stakeholder Enablement & Governance:
- Act as a trusted advisor to business users on system capabilities and best practices.
- Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing support for system enhancements.
- Participate in change management, release planning, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Help define and enforce system governance, standards, and documentation.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst, Salesforce Administrator, or similar role.
- Hands-on experience designing and maintaining Salesforce Flows and declarative automation.
- Strong understanding of business process mapping and requirements gathering.
- Experience working directly with non-technical stakeholders to deliver system solutions.
- Ability to document technical and functional requirements clearly and concisely.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Administrator certification or equivalent experience.
- Experience with cross-platform automation tools and integrations (e.g., APIs, middleware, workflow tools).
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), or enterprise SaaS systems.
- Exposure to AI-enabled automation, analytics, or intelligent decisioning tools.
- Experience supporting revenue operations, finance, or operational reporting.
