As a result, we are seeking an experienced forensic accountant to join our team.This is an opportunity to work on disputes, forensic accounting, investigations and valuations projects across Australia and the Asia Pacific region in a variety of industries. In this role, you will be doing the following: <ul style="margin-top:0cm;"><li class="MsoNormal">Assisting experts in drafting expert reports and formulating inputs into opinions.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Performing detailed financial analysis and investigations, and developing financial models from transactional and financial data. </li><li class="MsoNormal">Presenting findings and results to both internal and external clients. </li><li class="MsoNormal">Actively contributing to a variety of business development initiatives and being a brand ambassador through different channels (e.g. social media, client events).</li><li class="MsoNormal">Developing strong client relationships.</li></ul>You will be mentored by our world-leading Expert Witnesses in best practice, and will be able to pursue multiple pathways in your career, whether you want to be a technical subject matter specialist, or to testify in the witness stand. HKA will assist you along your journey with a supportive network, and a generous tuition reimbursement scheme. Skills and ExperienceThis is what we are looking for: <ul style="margin-top:0cm;"><li class="MsoNormal">You will have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in forensic accounting and disputes, valuation or related industries. You will be a Qualified Accountant or have similar qualifications.  </li><li class="MsoNormal">You are a strategic thinker who is comfortable working through ambiguity and loves an intellectual challenge. </li><li class="MsoNormal">You excel in preparing loss of profit models in relation to disputes and damages calculations, and are comfortable working with data sets, such as general ledgers, bank statements and other structured data.</li><li class="MsoNormal">You have exceptional written and communication skills, and have experience delivering and producing sections of technical reports and letters.</li><li class="MsoNormal">You are confident managing multiple matters while guiding and supporting colleagues to achieve shared goals.</li><li class="MsoNormal">You are building your network of contacts and are actively contributing to strategic business development initiatives.</li><li class="MsoNormal">You value integrity and enjoy being part of a highly supportive team built on strong values.  </li><li class="MsoNormal">You take ownership of your growth, proactively seeking learning and development opportunities.</li></ul>What We Offer At HKA we recognise that our people are critical to our ongoing success.
