SearchPlus HR is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Consultant/Specialist Surgical Oncologist to join a leading healthcare organization. This role entails delivering high-quality surgical care to cancer patients, involving both innovative surgical techniques and compassionate patient management.

As a Consultant/Specialist Surgical Oncologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing cancer, developing and implementing treatment plans, and conducting complex surgical procedures. You will work alongside a team of dedicated oncology professionals, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive care throughout their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine appropriate surgical interventions.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory tests to inform treatment decisions.
  • Perform a wide range of surgical procedures to treat various cancers, focusing on minimally invasive techniques when possible.
  • Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Manage pre-operative and post-operative care, monitoring patient recovery and addressing complications.
  • Engage in case discussions in tumor boards and multidisciplinary meetings to evaluate treatment paths.
  • Participate in continuing medical education and contribute to clinical research projects.
Qualifications:
  • Medical degree with specialization in Surgical Oncology.
  • Current and valid medical license to practice as a Consultant/Specialist Surgical Oncologist.
  • Minimum of [X] years of experience in surgical oncology or a similar field.
  • Proficiency in performing various oncologic surgeries with a focus on best practices and patient outcomes.
