Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Java Software Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the backend layer of our application using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Baker technologies. This role involves migrating existing functionalities to a more modern framework focused on scalability and modularity, participating in the decomposition of a monolithic application into microservices, and designing and implementing independent components as microservices deployed in the cloud (GCP). Additionally, the role includes integrating backend solutions with cloud components (GCP) and external systems using Apache Kafka, and collaborating with teams responsible for mobile applications (Android, iOS) and other system components.
Main tasks:
- Create a central database with key customer information,
- Integrate the database with other customer service systems,
- Implement actions defined based on analyses prepared by analysts,
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and standards,
- Improve service efficiency, enable faster decision-making, and enhance data utilization.
Qualifications
Must-have requirements:
- Proficiency in Java 17,
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP),
- Strong knowledge of Spring framework,
- Expertise in Apache Kafka,
- Familiarity with Hibernate.
Additional Information
Hybrid work model – 2 days per week in the Warsaw office.
