Position Summary:
The Sales Operations Manager at BioStem is directly responsible for optimizing the success of the organization’s sales team by streamlining and managing the CRM processes and system and supporting the sales team to ensure alignment with sales goals and projections and enhancing their overall efficiency and effectiveness.
The ideal candidate will have experience developing, deploying, customizing, and integrating Salesforce. He/she must be a business process-oriented person with strong analytical skills and act as a partner to peer functions, such as sales, business operations, and customer service.
Key responsibilities will require the management of the Salesforce CRM system, continuous analysis of sales activities and campaigns, and reporting of pipeline activity and revenue. The Sales Ops Manager will also provide support in the design of CRM system strategies and set standards for operations and programming.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create, implement, and manage CRM tool(s) to increase sales process efficiency and productivity, maximize opportunities, and enhance customer relationships.
- Lead and manage the customer acquisition process and funnel, ensuring strong pipeline and sharing the funnel status from lead through conversion.
- Analyze sales data, customer insights, and market potential to define territories and allocate quotas in collaboration with sales managers.
- Analyze sales data and metrics to provide insights and recommendations that inform design-making and drive performance improvements.
- Develop and manage sales forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company goals.
- Monitor sales performance against targets and adjust strategies as needed.
- Ensure alignment between sales and marketing strategies.
- Work closely with marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to align sales initiatives with broader business objectives, ensuring effective communication and execution.
- Develop and implement training programs for the sales team to enhance CRM tool utilization.
- Oversee the maintenance and optimization of the CRM system, ensuring data is accurately captured and utilized to drive sales effectiveness.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills (oral/written)
- High energy, flexibility, results oriented individual.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding territory and company sales goals, reflecting both a broad knowledge of the product line and business acumen, as well as successful efforts to educate customers or prospects.
- Courteous, friendly, and helpful to both customers and team members
- Demonstrated ability to analyze markets, plan sales strategies and effectively present scientific and clinical data to physicians, office/nursing staff, and economic buyers.
- Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving ability.
- Proficient in Microsoft software applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Bachelor's degree in business or other related field required; MBA degree preferred.
- Proven experience in Sales Operations Management, preferably in the healthcare or biotech industry.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales force automation and sales enablement tools.
- At least 5 Years experience with Salesforce, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, and Salesforce Certification.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce architecture, development, administration, and integration frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
- Proficiency in managing data and reporting systems.
- Proficiency in campaign analytics and ROI measurement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in a cloud environment.
