Lactalis Heritage Dairy, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Spray Dry Dryer Attendant based in Wausau, WI.

The Dryer Attendant assists the Dryer Operator to ensure an efficient startup and operation.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

· Assist Spray Dry Dryer Operator to ensure an efficient Startup.                  

· Assist with lockout/tagout of CV suppression system. 

· Assist with scraping collectors

· Assist with Downtime, plug ups, and minor repairs.

· Assist Dryer operator in keeping the area clean, organized and dust free.

· Observe and listen to equipment to detect possible malfunctions, such as rubbing, binding or 

plugging up, and report malfunctions to the Dryer Operator, Intake LT, Team Leader, or Maintenance.

· Performs all applicable HACCP and Quality Guidelines. 

· Responsible for following Food Safety & Quality (FSQ) requirements such as GMP’s and any other daily/job specific duties to support the implementation of QRMP.

· Observes all Safety, Environmental Regulations, Accident Prevention Procedures, Food Safety Procedure and GMP’s.

· Familiar with Quality programs, including GMP's, code dates, HACCP, Allergens, CCP, faulty/ hold.                       

· Perform other duties as directed

· Must be able to perform boxer duties as needed.

Requirements

Education and Experience

· High School Diploma or equivalent.

· Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

· Must be able to do basic math, communicate effectively, read and write proficiently. 

· Must complete the following training requirements/evaluations (30-60-90-120 Reviews)

· Certified Training and other training courses as required. 

· Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.

· Must be certified to operate a Hand truck and Forklift. 

· Operate a computer for printing labels and Computer Based Safety Training, Calculator, Telephone, Scale.
