REPORTS TO: Entertainment Supervisor
DEPT: Entertainment
POSITION SUMMARY:
Enthusiastically entertain and engage with guests in a safe and family-friendly manner while performing in a costume and able to assist in the maintenance and upkeep of said costume. Perform in a scripted thirty-minute play once a day, as well as a dance party. Memorize lines for the play and assist in the maintenance and upkeep of costumes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Engage and interact with guests on stage and around the park by portraying a variety of costumed characters in line with park themes and events.
- Provide high-energy performances, making guests feel involved and enhancing their enjoyment of the park.
- Memorize lines, blocking, and other elements for the seasonal plays.
- Safely put on and remove costumes with assistance if needed.
- Move around, pose for pictures, and perform inside a large costume for various lengths of time with the help of a handler.
- Physically engage and interact with audiences of all ages and abilities with and without the use of voice.
- Report any issues, changes or problems with the costume to the Entertainment Supervisor or Manager as soon as possible.
- Assist the Entertainment Supervisor and seasonal supervisors in cleaning and maintaining the overall appearance of the costume.
- Attend rehearsals, training sessions, and meetings to stay up to date on new performances, character changes, and park events.
- Other duties as assigned.

- General Requirements
- Comfortable speaking and interacting in front of a crowd.
- Comfortable in tight spaces with limited vision
- Ability to make big, coordinated movements (ie: walking, waving, marching, etc.)
- Ability to work with individuals with disabilities in a learning environment
- Other Information
- Shifts vary day and evening
- Availability on weekdays or weekend days
- Ability to work during the holiday seasons preferred
- Seasonal/ hourly position.
- Given hours are subject to change
- Must have reliable form of transportation
