About the Role
<p>A global leader in OEM manufacturing of medical devices for minimally invasive surgery is opening operations in the <strong>Grecia Free Trade Zone</strong> and is seeking to hire a <strong>Head of Supply Chain Manufacturing</strong> to lead the implementation and management of the local supply chain, ensuring operational continuity, regulatory compliance, and efficiency.</p><h4>Candidate Profile</h4><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in <strong>Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field</strong>.</p></li><li><p><strong>8+ years of experience</strong> in supply chain management, with at least <strong>3 years in leadership roles</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Experience in <strong>medical devices, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries</strong> (highly desirable).</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of <strong>procurement, logistics, customs, planning, and ERP systems</strong>.</p></li><li><p><strong>Fluency in English is mandatory</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Strategic, analytical, results-oriented profile with a <strong>hands-on mindset</strong>.</p></li></ul><h4>Key Responsibilities</h4><ul><li><p>Lead the <strong>end-to-end supply chain</strong>: procurement, demand planning, logistics, customs, warehousing, and distribution.</p></li><li><p>Ensure the availability of materials for production <strong>on time, at optimal cost, and with the required quality</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Manage critical KPIs such as <strong>OTIF, inventory levels, and supply continuity</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with regulations and standards applicable to the medical device industry.</p></li><li><p>Develop and manage relationships with <strong>local and international suppliers</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Act as the <strong>supply chain lead for the Costa Rica plant</strong> and as a key liaison with Headquarters and global teams.</p></li><li><p>Drive <strong>continuous improvement initiatives</strong> and operational efficiency across the supply chain.</p></li></ul>
