About the Role

Description:

  • Project-based casual employment (1-2 days per week and up to 5 days during peak periods) with highly flexible working arrangements
  • Exposure to cutting edge Research and Development in your area of study

We are looking for dedicated and highly driven individuals to assist our national team in delivering projects to well-known industry names. Preferred study backgrounds and industry are as follows:

 

Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) writers:

Computer Science and Engineering, ideally with experience with/exposure to task-tracking and knowledge management tools such as Jira/Confluence/Notion/Asana/Linear. Further, domain knowledge/hands-on experience with the following will be highly regarded:

  • full stack development
  • data science and analytics
  • generative AI, deep learning and machine learning
  • cloud computing
  • mobile development
  • cybersecurity

 

Previous experience in preparing academic and technical papers in your research area or expertise will be highly regarded. You will have the opportunity to work on projects for companies in the TMT sector at the forefront of innovation, whilst collaborating with a dynamic team of PhD-qualified scientists, engineers, IT professionals and lawyers. This role is to start immediately.

  • Be mentored by highly experienced senior practitioners and leverage your domain expertise to craft detailed technical project descriptions based on client documentation.

As this is a casual role, Right to Work and be employed in Australia is a requirement to be considered for the role. You will also have:

  • Recently completed or studying towards a post-graduate degree in the above-listed or related areas
  • Some exposure to or experience in academic, technical or whitepaper report-writing
  • An enthusiastic approach to work and an eagerness to learn

Ability to provide quality work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and outstanding problem-solving skills
