About the Role

Role Summary

Responsible for implementing EHS policies, ensuring compliance, monitoring safety performance, and driving a safe work culture across projects in India.

The role requires frequent site travel and close coordination with regional / site teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead corporate / site EHS audits, reviews, and compliance checks.
  • Monitor incidents, trends, and performance via Raksha portal.
  • Conduct site visits (18–20 days / month) for assessments and walk-downs.
  • Deliver training on HIRA, JSA, SOPs, and critical activities (WAH, lifting, confined space etc.).
  • Review leading / lagging indicators and emergency preparedness.
  • Drive safety initiatives, awareness campaigns, and corporate events.
  • Investigate major / fatal incidents and ensure preventive action.
  • Support client / external audits and mobilization / demobilization safety.

Requirements

  • Graduation in Engineering / Safety / Environment.
  • Lead Auditor Certification – ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
  • Safety certifications (NEBOSH / IOSH preferred).
  • 10 - 12 years EHS experience in construction projects.
  • Strong audit, compliance, and risk management skills.
  • Data-driven, proactive, and effective communicator.
  • Willing to travel extensively.
