Improving our guests travel experience using technology, ingenuity and kindness.”</em></strong></p></div><h1>Breeze is hiring- join us!</h1> <p>The Flight Operations and Pilot Talent Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the attraction and hiring of new Team Members at Breeze including Pilots, Embark and Lear 45 Rescue Flying&nbsp; program participants, Chief Pilots, Flight Instructors, Line Check Pilots and Flight Ops Training and Operations roles. This position is responsible for delivering the best possible talent with the right combination of skills and experience to drive organizational impact and company success. The role will partner with several key Breeze stakeholders to promote a strong, positive employment brand by ensuring a positive candidate experience.</p> <h2>Here's what you'll do</h2> <ul> <li>Partner with the Manager Talent – Flight Operations and Inflight on all Breeze Airways Pilot Hiring Strategies including Breeze Embark, Lear 45 Rescue Flying&nbsp; and all pilot partnership programs</li> <li>Develop and execute robust Pilot recruiting processes and communicate regularly with Flight Ops Leaders on process, status, and feedback of all candidates</li> <li>Attend Industry Events, Recruitment job fairs, school and/or community-based recruitment events, or other externally focused branding efforts</li> <li>Use traditional and non-traditional resources to actively source active and passive candidates such as social networks, career fairs, associations, campus, community networking events, etc.</li> <li>Review candidate resumes, applications, assessments, and questionnaires to determine whether candidates will move forward in the selection process</li> <li>Conduct detailed screening for positions based on position expectations</li> <li>Discuss offer details with Hiring Managers and extend verbal offers and negotiate offers to successful acceptance</li> <li>Create and deliver written job offers to Pilot and Flight Operations Candidates</li> <li>Rescind offers as necessary in the event a pre-employment hurdle is not met</li> <li>Attract and maintain Pilot Candidate Pools for future class openings</li> <li>Facilitate weekly Pilot Hiring Committee Meetings reviews for prospective new Pilots</li> <li>Prepare weekly Pilot Recruitment updates and present to Sr. Leadership</li> <li>Attend Weekly Pilot Staffing meetings and provide stats for each stage in the Pilot Hiring Process</li> <li>Partner with Breeze Planning, and then assign class dates to pilots in the pool</li> <li>Assist Talent Coordinator with maintaining PRD documents to ensure compliance with all FAA policies and procedures</li> <li>Discuss Pilot Offers with the Pilot Hiring Committee each week</li> <li>Oversee the visa process for pilots requiring sponsorship &amp; work with Breeze Attorneys</li> <li>Provide leadership and mentoring to other Talent Specialists and Coordinators on the team</li> <li>Become an expert with the Recruitment Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and help hiring managers and candidates navigate the tool</li> <li>Engage with Hiring Managers by conducting thorough intake sessions, debrief sessions, clarifying staffing needs and responsibilities</li> <li>Provide subject matter expertise in creating and managing job postings</li> <li>Influence the overall hiring process to achieve timeliness and meet commitments</li> <li>Manage positive internal and external applicant experience throughout the recruitment process</li> <li>Partner with Breeze Leaders on job requests and approvals for open positions based on company requirements</li> <li>Utilize a consultative approach with hiring teams for assessment and selection to best meet the needs of the business</li> <li>Independently manage the following recruiting duties with minimal errors: <ul> <li>Creating and routing requisitions for approval</li> <li>Posting positions on company-approved postings sites</li> </ul> </li> <li>Maintain up-to-date applicant records in the Applicant Tracking System for accurate reporting and analysis</li> <li>Maintain strong cross-functional partnerships with business, Hiring Managers, and other Pilot recruitment functions</li> <li>Manage specialty projects relative to the hiring needs</li> <li>Achieve performance measures and adhere to established standards in conjunction with Breeze Aviation Group Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence</li> </ul> <h2>Here's what you'll need to be successful</h2> <h3><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li>4+ years of experience/training in high-volume recruitment, training, or operations role</li> <li>4+ years' experience in a Pilot or Flight Ops Recruitment Role</li> <li>1+ years’ experience using candidate applicant tracking or training management systems</li> <li>Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills especially Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams</li> <li>Knowledge of FAA Pilot Requirements including restricted and unrestricted ATP</li> <li>Demonstrated experience in Project Management reporting performance and metrics</li> <li>Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, highly team-oriented environment</li> <li>Strong communication and ability to build relationships with all levels of personnel</li> <li>Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a strong emphasis on a customer service orientation</li> <li>Strategic and forward-thinking</li> <li>Strong knowledge of social media and demonstrated usage of tools such as LinkedIn</li> <li>Demonstrated good judgment and confidentiality</li> <li>High-performance orientation, ability to work well under pressure, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility with minimal support</li> <li>Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills</li> <li>Self-starter - must have a positive attitude and strong desire for success</li> <li>Complete projects on time with minimal supervision, ability to work varied hours when necessary to meet deadlines</li> <li>Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li>5+ years’ experience in Pilot Recruitment</li> <li>Knowledge of visa processing and visa requirements</li> <li>Experience with Flight Schools and Flight Training Programs</li> <li>Knowledge and Experience using Greenhouse Applicant Tracking System platform</li> <li>Knowledge and Experience using Workday HRIS platform</li> <li>PRD Processing Experience</li> <li>Leadership Experience</li> <li>Knowledge of competency-based interviews and assessment techniques</li> <li>Knowledge of workforce planning (forecast, identify specific needs, skills, locations, and behaviors)</li> <li>Knowledge of employment law, and recruitment practices</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Skills/Talents</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Ability to handle multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy and ability to delegate work as needed</li> <li>Ability to quickly assess candidate’s skills/qualifications and attributes and make placements/recommendations
