About the Role
Secondary School Psychologist | Assessment & Intervention Focus

Full-time assignment for the remainder of the school year

Our organization is seeking a full-time School Psychologist to join a supportive and collaborative secondary school team for the remainder of the academic year. This role serves middle and high school students in a diverse learning environment and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic performance, behavior, and social-emotional well-being.

As the School Psychologist will also play an active role in strengthening school-wide practices by leading professional development sessions and family workshops focused on academic achievement, behavior support, and social-emotional growth. Through collaboration and targeted interventions, you will help promote positive outcomes across the school community.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide psychological services to students in grades 6–12.
  • Facilitate workshops and informational sessions for families.
  • Design and deliver professional development for school staff.
  • Use assessment data to guide interventions and decision-making.
  • Support IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers.

Requirements

  • NASP certification preferred, but not required.
  • Valid School Psychologist license issued by the Illinois Board of Psychology.
  • Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology, Educational Psychology, or a related discipline.
