The impact you’ll make
Be a part of the exciting New Product Transition Engineering team. You will assist the engineers to develop assembly or test process to successfully transition of new products from development to High Volume Manufacturing (HVM). This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on product success and operational efficiency while working with cutting-edge technologies and global teams.
What you’ll do
Performing these tasks to assist engineers to:
- Review and analyze Bill of Materials (BOM) for accuracy and completeness
- Interpret and evaluate CAD drawings to support assembly and test processes
- Develop and document assembly and test procedures to ensure consistency and quality
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to assembly and testing
- Provide input on design changes to improve manufacturability and efficiency
- Support the team in maintaining compliance with industry standards and best practices
Who we’re looking for
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechatronic, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and assembly techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- Added advantage if familiarity with CAD software

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
