About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled BI Developer to join our Analytics team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between data engineering and data analysis, ensuring that high-quality, well-structured data is available for our business intelligence, reporting, and analytical needs. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with data, loves problem-solving, and has a keen interest in driving business decisions through actionable insights.


What You’ll Do:

  1. Data Modeling and Transformation: Design, develop, and maintain data models that make data easily accessible and understandable to stakeholders. Use tools like dbt (Data Build Tool) to transform raw data into actionable analytics.
  2. Data Pipeline Development: Build, optimize, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure data is clean, reliable, and timely. Work with data engineers to ingest and process data from various sources.
  3. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide technical expertise on data structuring.
  4. Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and improve data processes to ensure scalability and performance efficiency, including query optimization and data storage best practices.
  5. Data Quality and Governance: Implement data validation, monitoring, and governance practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
  6. Tooling and Automation: Develop tools and scripts to automate routine tasks and improve the efficiency of data workflows.
  7. Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of data models, data pipelines, and processes to ensure data transparency and team knowledge sharing.
  8. Troubleshooting and Support: Identify and resolve data-related issues, troubleshoot data discrepancies, and provide support to data users.


Must-Haves:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Equivalent work experience is also considered.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Data/ Analytics Engineer
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data transformation tools such as DBT. Experience with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
  • Data Warehousing: Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data schema design.
  • ETL/ELT: Experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools such as Apache Airflow, Fivetran, or similar.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex datasets and communicate findings effectively.
  • Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems like Git for managing data pipeline changes.
  • Expert in SQL and proficiency in Python for data analysis and transformation.


Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to work cross-functionally, and a collaborative mindset.
