About the Role
Overview

Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) organization powers one of the largest and most advanced global datacenter infrastructures in the world - delivering secure, compliant, cost-effective, and highly available cloud services that customers depend on. As a Senior Communication Manager in the Executive Office within CO+I, you will play a critical role in driving the communications strategy for the leader and executive office, partnering closely with other senior leadership across the company

 

This role requires an ability to craft, deliver, and adapt messages across diverse mediums and audiences with precision, creativity, and impact. This person will need to demonstrate excellence in organizational, oral, and written communication skills to present technical and non-technical ideas effectively, foster collaboration across a global team, and align stakeholders as needed. An ability to be organized, juggle multiple deliverables, and plan around obstacles is a must.



Responsibilities
  • Develop communications strategy for President and drive execution and scale of plansto deliver business impact through communications.
  • Develop core messaging and narrative to bring the mission and business priorities to life through dynamic storytelling.
  • Demonstrate strategic leadership by driving impactful messaging for the business, aligning with the company mission, strategy, leadership principles and cultural attributes.
  • Partner with appropriate teams to triage requests and check for alignment to strategy and team priorities and ensure that positioning and tone is appropriate for exec engagement.
  • Create and align communications plans to RoB and broader communications.
  • Drive and execute an orchestrated and thoughtful social media strategy.


Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field AND 4+ years communications, marketing operations, field operations, program management, project management, or related experience
    • OR equivalent experience

 

 

Additional or preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field AND 8+ years communications, marketing operations, field operations, program management, project management, or related experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years experience supporting senior executives in an executive communications role.

 



Communications IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
