A bit about your role

As the Field Area Manager in Perth, you’ll lead a diverse team to deliver safe, high-quality field operations that connect customers to the nbn network. You’ll foster collaboration, champion safety and quality standards, and drive improvements in processes, tools, systems, documentation, and work practices.

You’ll provide input and recommendations to enhance safe ways of working and participate in safety and quality improvement initiatives and projects. Staying informed on industry standards and benchmarks will help you promote operational excellence, while sharing knowledge and best practices with peers and delivery partners will strengthen performance across the board.

You’ll also identify, support the development, and implement processes, systems, and tools that optimize cost efficiency in construction practices. Regular communication with delivery partners and field staff will be key to aligning on quality expectations and ensuring consistent, high-quality outcomes.

You have extensive experience in telecommunications or technical fields and a proven ability to lead inclusive, high-performing teams. You combine operational expertise with commercial awareness and stay curious about evolving technologies and industry trends. Your commitment to safety, sustainability, and collaboration ensures you deliver outcomes that make a positive impact on customers, teams, and communities.

You’re proactive in improving work practices, sharing knowledge, and building strong relationships to drive operational excellence and cost efficiency.
