Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
  • Perform maintenance and service work per manufacturer specifications.
  • Ensure all repairs meet dealership and manufacturer quality standards.
  • Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding repair needs and timelines.
  • Maintain certifications and participate in ongoing technical training.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of automotive technician experience (dealership experience preferred).
  • ASE certification(s) or manufacturer certification(s) preferred.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and technical service bulletins.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
