Job Title: QA Lead
Location: Hyderabad, India
Reporting To: QA Test Manager
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Lead to drive quality assurance initiatives with a strong focus on technical execution and automation. This role requires a hands-on professional who can implement modern testing practices, optimize efficiency, and leverage emerging technologies such as Generative AI to enhance testing processes. You will work closely with development teams, architects, and product owners to ensure robust quality standards across the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Expertise & Execution
- Lead the design and implementation of automated test scripts for functional and non-functional testing.
- Drive adoption of modern QA tools and frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Postman, Bruno, Virtuoso, CucumberJMeter).
- Implement shift-left testing practices and integrate QA into CI/CD pipelines.
- Contribute to performance, integration testing strategies.
- Explore and apply Generative AI solutions for test case generation, defect prediction, and efficiency improvements.
Quality Metrics & Reporting
- Define and track quality KPIs to measure test coverage, defect leakage, and automation effectiveness.
- Provide clear and actionable reporting to stakeholders on test progress and quality status.
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with developers, product owners, and architects to embed quality early in the development cycle.
- Support QA Manager in implementing QA strategy and automation-first principles.
- Coordinate with offshore and onshore teams for consistent execution of QA processes.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify gaps in testing processes and propose innovative solutions.
- Stay updated on emerging QA trends, tools, and technologies, including AI/ML in testing.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience in test automation using Playwright, Postman, Bruno, Virtuoso, Cucumber,JMeter.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps principles.
- Experience in functional, integration, and non-functional testing
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Azure).
- Exposure to Generative AI applications in QA and test optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of contract testing and service virtualization.
- Experience with test data management and API testing strategies.
- ISTQB / ISEB certification or equivalent practical experience.
