Shift Availability for Residential Living Activity Assistant:

  • Hours vary depending on scheduled activities
  • Some weekend flexibility for resident outings
  • 40 Hours per week consistently
  • $500 sign-on bonus

Responsibilities of Residential Living Activity Assistant:

  • Assist with implementation of residential living activity programming.
  • Plan, Escort and Facilitate outings and activities
  • Administrative duties related to residential living services
  • Respond to resident requests and preferences; monitor attendance and involvement.
  • Assist with calendar creation and preparation.
  • Assist with implementation of structured activities including reserving space, collect supplies and arranging clean up and set up.
  • Coordinate small group activities or special interest groups.
  • Assist residents with technology tasks as requested.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • College degree or activity related certification preferred
  • Desire to work with the senior population
  • Strong interpersonal skills with awareness for dignity, respect, compassion and safety
  • Driving 15 passenger bus
  • Organization skills with attention to detail
