Job Description

Sports Club Manager

The Sports Club Manager is responsible for the overall management and operation of a sports club. This role includes overseeing daily activities, managing team, organizing events and competitions, handling finances, and ensuring a positive experience for members and guests.

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the sports club
  • Develop and enforce club policies and procedures
  • Recruit, train, and manage the team
  • Promote teamwork and a positive club culture
  • Handle memberships, fees, and payments
  • Plan and organize activities, training sessions, leagues, and competitions
  • Manage memberships and respond to inquiries or concerns
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding policies
  • Manage risk assessments and emergency procedures

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Sports Management, Business, or a related field
  • Previous experience managing a sports club, team, or recreational organization
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of sports management and club operations
  • Basic financial and budgeting skills
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
