For this role specifically, we are seeking individuals to help support high-impact, civic tech within the federal government.</p> <p>As an integral part of the program, the Technical Lead is responsible for performing analysis of data needs and system data structures. Additionally, this individual will support the operation of system databases, provide support for SQL development and runtime analysis, support operations in one or more environments to ensure systems are reliable and available. This individual is responsible for the technical approach, implementation, and knowledge of the work stream.</p> <p><strong>Client Requirements:</strong> applicants <strong>MUST BE US Citizens</strong> and be able to obtain Public Trust clearance</p> <h4>Responsibilities</h4> <ul> <li>Responsible for the technical approach, implementation, and knowledge of the work stream.</li> <li>Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.</li> <li>Analyze user needs and develop software solutions.</li> <li>Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.</li> <li>May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.</li> <li>Mentor and supervise software developers.</li> </ul> </div> </div> <div class="styles--2kg4_" data-ui="job-requirements"> <h4>Requirements</h4> <div> <ul> <li>Bachelors Degree</li> <li>11+ years of experience&nbsp;</li> <li>Software development experience using Java, JavaScript, Python, ReactJS, Ruby on Rails, TypeScript, or related languages</li> <li>Knowledge of front-end languages and libraries (e.g. JavaScript)</li> <li>Knowledge of back-end languages (e.g. Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React)</li> <li>Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL), web servers (e.g. nginx) and UI/UX design</li> <li>Must be able to get up-to-speed quickly on new projects and technologies</li> <li>Strong communication and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Leadership and people management experience</li> <li>Ability to provide direction to less senior team members</li> <li>Demonstrated interest in and ability to learn new systems and technology quickly</li> <li>Ability to discuss technical tasks and team process topics with team members and outside stakeholders</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to Have Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>A background in Python</li> <li>An interest in DevOps</li> <li>Experience with CI/CD</li> <li>Experience with AWS</li> <li>Experience with Docker/Kubernetes</li> </ul> <p><strong>Salary Range</strong></p> <p>We are committed to offering a competitive salary for this position, with an estimated range of $145k to $190k annually. Please note that this range is intended to provide a general idea of what to expect; however, the final offer may vary based on experience, skills, and other factors.
