Job Summary
The Customer Service Representative will interact with customers by proactively addressing inquiries and resolving customer concerns in addition to providing service to customers at the bottle dock station. Our Customer Service Representatives are committed to Service, Efficiency and Safety.
This role is based in our Odessa, TX office and will primarily support our Carlsbad, NM location.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Interacts with customers via telephone, email, or in person to provide support and information on products or services and serves as a liaison between customers and the company
- Collects and enters orders for new or additional products or services
- Forwards customer questions and complaints to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff
- Field customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative’s knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.
- Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers problems and concerns
- Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments
- Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 3 years of customer service experience
- Experience in high-volume phone call settings highly preferred
- Experience in the oil and propane industry preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Service-oriented and the ability to resolve customer grievances
- Proficient with computer skills and the ability to learn and use current and new software
- Must be proficient with the current Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn and utilize different software
Physical Requirements:
The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by the incumbent to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, using a phone, and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed in order to safely assist with duties around the plant
- Must pass pre-employment screening and background check
